I have IVA with Giva since 18/09/2013 Iat £250 a month I always pay then direct debit. But last month they send me a letter saying I will not longer be able to pay by direct debit so I have to phone them and pay by the phone. So I not to chore about it.
They also ask me for my bank details payslips and when I send to then they always ask me to send it again.
So don't no what is really going on can you help me because I still didn't pay then this month.
Thank you for your help
What type of number do you have to ring and do you get charged for paying by card?
If they keep losing information complain to them and then the Information Commissioner (their ICO registration number does not appear to exist).
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
You might also want to check that it is actually GIVA who are contacting you with these instructions and not someone who has found you were with them, and has written you pretending to be them t have payments redirected to them, try calling the contact details on your original paperwork to speak about it, rather than any recent letters you have received, strange that no longer able to process direct debts, seems very very strange - do you even know what account your funds are being allocated to now and who you are giving your card payment detail to.
I am paranoid by the way incase you hadn't noticed ! Search insolvency registry write to person on it pretending to be firm and seek payment redirection, easy could be a classic case of identity fraud with you sending them payslips and bank statements etc etc

My Blog details, the route I took before IVA, how I choose my firm, equity release advice (year 4-5), challenging the CRA's keeping IVA on credit file once gone from insolvency register
IVA ended August 2015. Would recommend McCambridge Duffy
Checked their site - ticks all the right boxes but rings all the wrong bells if that makes sense.

They may be fine but I have just never heard of them. It does seem strange that they cannot take direct debits so I would be concerned about this and try and get written confirmation from the IP. Longslog101 may accuse himself of being paranoid but the scammers are getting better so you can never be too careful.

I would certainly be very wary of making payments over the phone! Don't cancel the DD and see what happens when the next payment is due out.
I do agree that you contact the company via the number you have on your paperwork. You can always tell them that you don't have a card to pay with.

spoke to credifix today bout an unrelated matter but while i was on they told me the were cancelling direct debits/standing orders soon and switching to pre-paid debit cards or something
said all clients would receive letters over next few months to advise on the changes
anyone else has this from them?
CF are an Irish owned company, trying to take over the market and apparently running before they can walk.
