Hello
This is my first post in the forum although I have been reading for a number of weeks now.

I have my Iva meeting booked for 1st December but I'm such a worrier that I'm
Thinking the worst and that it will be rejected.

My offer is low only 10pence in the £.
The company I'm using is Knightsbridge which is who Vincent bond referred me to.
Has anyone had such a low offer accepted?

Are there any companies that are known to reject an Iva?
Thanks

I have seen lower dividends accepted --- the whole picture is the thing, not just one aspect. Knightsbridge must be confident, otherwise they wouldn't put it forward --- if it gets rejected they don't get paid !!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

They wouldn't be putting your offer forward unless they thought it had a good chance of being accepted - good luck!

We recently had one accepted at 0.003p in the £. It was a £10,000 lump sum and the debts were almost 2.2 million.

Still better than bankruptcy.

As others have said your IP will not have recommended and written your iva proposal if they felt it not achievable - as hard as it is you must stay positive and not think the worst.

Thank you I do just worry about everything.
Am really struggling at the minute as my ip has told me to continue making payments althou I had started using credit to make minimum payments so now I'm not using credit I just don't have the money to make the minimum payments till the creditor meeting so am getting myself
Very stressed out by it all and having to ask family if they can help me out for
Next week and a half.
Is it normal that the ip tell you to continue making monthly payments up to the creditors meeting?

It is bizarre to be told this and it makes no sense at all. If you could afford the minimum payments you would not need an IVA!

Pay no one pending the outcome of the meeting and if a creditor calls you give them the date. If you can try and build a small contingency to get you started but pay no creditors.

I did find it very strange to have to keep
Making payments because if I could
Afford to do this I wouldn't need to go for an Iva in the first place.
I have even double checked with ip and got an email saying that they advise if I can afford to keep making payment then I should do so.
I really don't want to have to rely on family to lend me money to get by till
Meeting.
I've got a loan payment due on Friday and 2 credit card payments due next Monday.
It's all very confusing I was told by Vincent bond who referred me to Knightsbridge that I should stop making payments and then Knightsbridge telling me to continue #128532;

Cancel the payments as it will make no difference to your IVA being accepted or not. It is crazy borrowing from family to make payments that you cannot afford.

There is absolutely no need to make any payments. Pay your essential bills and expenses, what you have left over squirrel aside ------ when the IVA is accepted this will make a small contingency fund.
