I received my Completion Certificate and Final Report from Freeman Jones yesterday. A bit earlier than I was expecting them, to be honest, so all credit to them for that. So thank you, Freeman Jones! It's great to finally be at the end of it all. Freedom at last! No doubt I'll now start receiving invitations to take out credit cards and stuff, all of which I'll happily ignore.

Thanks to everyone on here for their presence and advice. I wish you all the very best!

If anyone has any advice for things I may need to keep an eye on now the CC has been issued, please let me know. In the meantime, have a lovely Bank Holiday Weekend!

Excellent news - really pleased for you.

Just make sure your credit files are up to date but of course the IVA will remain on your record for six years from the start but you should drop off the Insolvency Register within three months.

Hi Rick. That's great news and really quick from Freeman Jones. I am with FJ and can honestly say (so far) they have been brilliant. They have always been clear and on hand if I've had any queries. I would recommend them. I am in last year of equity release and have 11 payments left. Well done on your completion!!

I hope so Kallis. I fear the next 11months will seem like an age #128561;#128561;. By the way, have followed your posts a lot on here - you have been and continue to be a source of support, guidance and information for many on here. Thank you.

Try to put it out of your mind, Rob. Hard, I know, but a watched pot never boils, as they say :-)

Watzki - sorry for the late reply, I've been away in Wales for the weekend and only got back this afternoon. My final payment went out on July 1st, and my CC arrived on August 25th. So that's eight weeks. Exactly how long they said they'd be. Not bad!

Thanks for your nice words, everyone!
