Hello. Please can you help me? I started an IVA on the 27th June 2011, I was able to make a full and final settlement and completed the IVA on the 21st December 2011. On my credit file only 2 out of approx 7 debts say that they are still defaulted. Barclays credit card and a Halifax credit card. Should they say settled now? Or will they be on until the 27th June 2016 even though they were 'settled' on the 21st December 2011??
It really makes little difference how the defaults are marked as the elephant in the room will overshadow any of the rest of your file until it falls off in the fullness of time, which will be on or around end of June 2017.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
