Herbekj, you can call the UK call centre direct - 0870 240 1170. I was told the request had to be raised online so there is an audit trail but I definitely wouldn't bother with their foreign call centre!

Daft -- they need an "audit trail" to remove it -- but don't need one for putting it there on a whim.

I think this is so wrong. Andy, is this something you can raise, as it seems to be a major issue for everyone post the 6 year mark.

Thanks

Chris

They are doing this in the mistaken belief that they are helping you ---- by confirming to searchers that the IVA showing has been completed. Which IS good in that final year between completion and credit file clearance.

What they should do, when they enter the NOC, is give it an automatic "shelf life", so that it drops off at the same time as the IVA.

Just fallen foul of this myself - in addition to a bogus association, allegedly from when I was 16.

Currently on hold trying to get it removed. I completed three years ago.

Just logged in to check mine and nothing showing in the notices of correction thankfully.
Orange78, I had the same on mine from 1998.
