How long does it normally take for the CC to come through? With Aperture. When I last spoke with them they said there would be no contact between us now. IVA was settled 11/04/2016.
I started IVA 20/07/2009 so its been over 6 yrs so I'd hope to think my credit record is clear. With Noddle but to be fair, when I compared that with Equifax when I did the free trial some show where others haven't.

Hi,

Aperture are notoriously slow but it should be with you soon.

It won't drop off your credit record until the agencies receive a copy of the completion.

Keep hounding them - you want that all important piece of paper!

Have a read here about credit files post IVA:

http://debtcamel.co.uk/repair-credit-record-iva/

Historically, when they were GT, they were notoriously slow, but do seem to have improved of late, so let's hope they keep that up and the CC arrives soon.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Some firms can take up to 6 months to close so you could be waiting until October but Aperture seem to be a bit quicker than that judging by posts on this forum. keep the pressure on them to close.

I'm afraid your need the CC before your credit file can begin to be repaired.

My IVA was with aperture and ended 26th march this year. I received my cc last week. I was always told that they are pretty quick when it comes to the cc. Usualy within 3 months. Like i say, mine took 2 months

Once the creditors have accepted the offer, I assume you pay the money you offered over within a couple of days.
What happens then. Do you have to continue doing reviews etc or do you just sit back and wait for completion certificate

The money should be paid over immediately if you are doing a full and final and then that is it - you sometimes have to do one final review and then that should be it.

You are still bound by the IVA until you get that all important bit of paper.

It depends on the terms of the offer. If it wasn't paid in advance then the IP should write to you/third party requesting payment.

Bear in mind that the closure process might take up to 6 months depending on your IP so it would still be a while before you get your CC.

*Update*
They're waiting for 1 more creditor to claim and then the paper work will be sent to me. Said I should have my CC in a matter of weeks.

Creditor only has 3 weeks to claim once they have been sent formal notice of dividend so make sure this isn't held up too much! Best of luck.

Update. Received CC today via email. Couple of quick questions:
- As it can take up to 3 months for me to be removed from the IIR, is it worth me signing up to the credit ref agencies now or shall I wait till I'm off?
- There is £8K showing on my final report to someone I never added and have no idea who its for. And have been paid £300 towards that debt. Is it worth mentioning? I know all the others

Great that you received it - bear in mind that it will remain on your credit record for the full six years.

It might well be that the debt was sold on by the original creditor - you could speak to your IP to see if they know what it is.
