Hi I have just paid my last iva payment my creditors have met three months ago and have decided to close my iva.
The issue I have Ive been in a mortagage for 7 yrs and currently looking to move, so will be selling and purchasing new property. How can I optain a mortgage? I have a very good salary and the iva was down to more circumstancial situation rather than me not having control of my finanaces

Hi

Your IVA will be on your credit file for six years from when it started and you will find it near impossible to secure a mortgage. However do check with our two mortgage experts who post on here, Shaun and Ryan

Good luck
