Just a quick post to show that life after an IVA is possible. Some posters gaining mortgages and for myself a little step but one I'm particularly pleased with. I went with Natwest bank when setting up my IVA. Been happy with them during the past 7 years with my blue debit card...so couldn't use it at pay at the pump stations etc, However, today a brand new shiny purple full account card through the door offering the contactless option...only a small thing but for me means a lot,
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi, Lesley. I agree, it is the little things that mean a lot and it's solid evidence of leaving the IVA behind you.

I was like a child with a new toy this morning when it arrived. I'm sure his royal highness has one too as he's got the same envelope. I do agree it's just another step towards leaving the IVA behind.
