Hi can anyone give me advice on a marriage split and a joint IVA. We are 2 years into the IVA we both work owe 35000 and have a mortgage and we are paying 70p in the GBP. Have about 20,000 equity in house but no plans to sell as have 2 children at home although they are not dependents aged 17 and 21. THank you xx

The best course of action, IVA-wise, would be for you and your partner to work together and continue to service the IVA as you had planned to do before the split ---- if this at all possible financially.

Alternatively you could have the IVA's separated and each continue with your own.

In any event you will need to do a new I&E with your IP as these things will have now changed.
