Hi I am in an IVA,will I be ever able to get a mortgage ?

Hi I am in an IVA,will I be ever able to get a motgage whist still in the IVA,my age is 66.

It is highly unlikely given your age and the IVA. If you have already got a mortgage your IVA will likely be extended if there is equity.

Have to agree with Michael, it will be hard to even consider a mortgage for the next six years due to the IVA on your credit file

There is only one lender I know who will consider a mortgage whilst you are in an IVA but in practical terms it is very unlikely even so because you would have to have a big deposit / lots of equity on one hand but your IP would also need to agree to the mortgage. Hence it's a complete conflict.
