Getting phone calls from my old bank regarding loans that were taken out in 1999

I went into the iva 4 3/4 yrs ago now im getting phone calls from my old bank regarding loans that were taking out in 1999 I thought the iva company's could only go after ppi money that are bound within the loans ,credit cards please help

I am afraid they can go after, and be entitled to, any PPI they can trace -- it is an asset regardless of it's source.

In the early PPI days loans outside of the IVA and secured loans were overlooked --- now the companies are rectifying this omission.

As has been said many times -- the legalities of these actions have yet to be tested.

Was this lloyds/TSB gary? This weekend my wife got a call out of the blue saying she had PPI on a loan from 1998. She hadnt even tried claiming, so nice of them to contact her!

yes I have loads off calls from Lloyds /tsb. asking silly questions like it was yesterday, 25 mins on a loan in 1998 really !!!!!
