I have finally now received my completion certificate after making my last payment in June 2013!! They say that I should now send this to all 3 credit company's. I note however that after 6 years it is all removed from your credit file anyway. As such should I still send or was this advised to cover technically the last year or so?

Hi Chickpea --- the credit reference agencies will only remove it at 6 years if they are aware that it has been formally completed. If they think it is still active it will remain on file for ever.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
