Cleardebt have been taking legal advice about PPI for 2 years ? Is there an answer to this ?

For the past couple of years I have been told that Cleardebt are taking legal advice with regard to lenders wanting to offset PPI payments against debt, as Cleardenbt believe that these payments should go towards the IVA as an asset. Is there an answer to this?
