Now unemployed. Can I apply for a DRO ? My circumstances are unlikely to improve.

Hi I'm currently in a IVA however I am now unemployed and have been for 4 months I'm also 3 months behind on my IVA my only sources of income is my job seekers allowance I'm really struggling to pay my IVA can I apply for a DRO I have no assets above £300 and my total debt is below £15000 and my circumstances are unlikely to improve pleaser please help

It is a possibility, however the IVA will have to be terminated first and the additional interest that might be levied could add to the debt to push it over the limit. I would suggest you have a chat with your local CAB advisor.
