Hello, I've just received a Power of Attorney letter from Castle Keep solicitors from my joint supervisors to claim PPI during my IVA. Apparently I was sent a letter to sign power but never did!!

Anyway, PPI claims have already been pursued by my IVA company ( I remember signing something a while back but not a POA form), and I think at least £9k has been payed out.

Not quite sure why a letter has been sent to sign when they've already pursued claims. Any idea why a letter has been issued since claims have already been done?
Slightly confused!!
Thankyou

Sometimes new claims come out of the woodwork or have to be revisited ( as happened recently when many earlier claims were found to have been wrongly denied).

The Power of Attorney ( some firms use a Deed of Assignment) allows the IP to basically carry on without bothering you all the time and / or to continue investigations after completion.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
