After paying a f&f in July of this year, I received my completion certificate yesterday, which was a great surprise, as I really expected to wait at least the stated six months. Thanks to all on the forum for their support, particularly Foggy, who has a wealth of good advice. I've still got to wait 3 more years until all the reports drop off my credit file etc, but the hard work is now done and I will never make the same mistakes again. Good luck to those starting out, its a daunting prospect but well worth doing and a great learning curve, use the forum for all your worries and wobbly moments!

Hi Essexlady and thank you for the compliments.

DFD do seem to be getting a handle on completions in spite of PPI. Hopefully they are on course to being the firm they used to be.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Iva firms cannot be fairly judged by the time a certificate issued.
It wouldn't even be a performance target in their business plan.

The issuing of the c.certificates is the easy part in managing the Iva.

DFD features a lot here on THAT subject probably because they are a very popular Iva firm with and has the old clearstar customers.
Maybe 2 in 5 Iva are managed by DFD.
No real issues with DFD....a very successful business and that is how it is seen.
