3 payments remaining, have been paying £500 monthly but salary dropped by 1/4 and then by 1/2 for feb and March as off sick. Spoken to credit fix and advised to cancel standing order and fill in I and e form. If I offered £1000 as full and final would this be accepted as I have gone thro chemo am due surgery and then radiotherapy and I could do without messing about with paperwork. Thanks.

It is certainly worth asking, but there will still be paperwork involved. The I&E will demonstrate your lowered income and they might be able to get the creditors to accept payments made to date, in the circumstances, and, basically, call it quits.

Agree with Foggy ..you are going through enough right now and hopefully creditors will agree to accept payments to date.

Hi, thanks for your replies. Did ask by email in December about f and f due to circumstances and when salary drops to half there won't be much left for iva but never had a reply. Spoken to call centre staff who was lovely but just said to cancel standing order and pay what I could and it could be sorted at the end. Just concerned I could be seen as behind in payments and it to cause a problem which I don't want as I am so near to the end and it all ran smoothly previously. Thanks again for you help.

Hi

I am sure given your circumstances that creditors will either accept a small lump sum or payments to date as a full and final

Try writing to your actual IP

Good luck

Creditfix emailed me back at last and are asking for last 6 mths bank statements-not been asked for these before-and last 6 mth payslips. As they only took over from November and everything was up to date I find this odd. Also it's only from this month that I need to reduce payments due to drop in salary, paid full amount last month.

It appears that this is the way CF work, I am afraid.

Have a look here if you want a contact to look at this:
