Hi All,

We made our last payment in November and are just waiting for our CC.
We want to open an account with nationwide has anyone in an IVA managed to do this?

Many thanks
An IVA is a long hard road but valuable lessons have been learnt along the way. Now looking forward to enjoying a debt free future!

We couldnt get an account until our insolvency dropped off our files.

Now got the flexplus account and it seems quite good.

Paul
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

We have got a nationwide account with a debit card. We applied just before the start of our IVA. They weren't one of our creditors. They've been great. Would recommend it.

Thank you, I will air on the side of caution then and wait for the IVA to 'drop off' before we try and get one.

I did the same, my only grip is that they don't have a contactless card as yet, other than that, tip top

even my creditors were cool (HSBC), they basically told me that they were going to come for me, but they are big and slow, so I had a bit of time to get clear, told me what to do, where to go, it all worked out.

Yes, the contactless card is from nationwide. Mine expires soon, so hoping I'll get one too
