Been a while since I've been on here. Cut a long story short, due to personal problems I stopped paying my IVA. After 6 months I regretted it but was too scared to call GT up. So done what got me into trouble in the 1st place and buried my head in the sand. Finally I'm in a place to where I can start again and received a letter yesterday saying I have till March 7th to contact them before it fails. Would it be worth carrying on?
Look forward to your replies

You have an opportunity to put it right - can you catch up on what has not been paid?
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
I know. I want to call them but looking for some advice 1st.
Probably not. If there's an option to extend it by the months I've missed. 9 payments I think.
Going the process of getting a new job and me being me took out a pay day loan and borrowed against something I shouldn't have so in the process of paying it off bit by bit.
Don't do things by halves me.

I wouldn't delay in contacting them I know it is probably extremely daunting, How far in to your IVA are you? They have not failed your IVA so at this point you don't have anything to loose by contacting them I would pick the phone up now and hopefully there will be a solution for you maybe an extension but explain your situation in full and be honest. Good Luck.
Inter-locking IVA approved 25th Feb 2013 - F&F offer Accepted 06th July 2017 - Completion Certificate received 20th July 2017
With so much of the hard slog already done at least have a chat with them. Remember it won't make things worse and might make them better. Hopefully they can get the creditors to forgive the break and pick up again from where you left off.
Best of luck
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
Hopefully the IVA has not been failed yet so check the insolvency register to see if you are still there. It is easier to save an existing case than start from the start again.
