Not with any prospect of getting one. Lenders will not consider you until the IVA is off your credit files, and even then your choice of lender will be limited. The longer you can leave it and the bigger deposit you can get the better.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

When all sign of your iva has been removed from credit files including defaults you should approach a broker who has past experience of helping people with past debt issues. We have a couple of forum posters who are expert brokers (Ryan and Shaun) whose contact details are on the left under ask the experts a question section.
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !

it really is best to wait until you receive your completion certifiate, your credit files are squeeky clean and you are post 6 years from date of acceptance which you should be if all the other is fine.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
