We have four children, IVA approved in 2014. The IVA company put the household expenditure at £560.00. This does not cover the household food bill will four growing hungry children. 1st annual review in a couple of months, can this be increased.

Hi and welcome to the forum. If you're struggling when you complete your IVA income and expenditure as part of the review I would definitely request an increase. Why not keep a few receipts they may never be needed but just in case to prove expenditure on food.

There are plenty of money saving ideas via this forum too which may be worth a search for as we've all been there honest and I do know it's not easy with ever increasing prices.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Certainly be prepared to argue the case for an increase, as mentioned maybe keep a few receipts to back yourself up. If you dont ask you dont get.

We had normally 2 decent weeks of groceries then a lesser week then by the 4th week it was tesco beans on toast for a couple of evening meals!!

Needs must during an IVA but whilst eextravagance is out you shouldnt have to starve.

Hi

The max guideline food allowance for 2 adults & 4 kids it £698.

Plenty of scope to ask for a bit more if you're struggling

The IP should have up to 15% wriggle room built in without going back to creditors.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
