The IVA is so secondary to life. About to cope with live saving, very possibly fatal, surgery for my sister tomorrow and I could not give a stuff about the IVA at the moment. This is what is important in life, and we all need to realise that money isn't important but the people who we love are what matters. I'm stressed and very very frightened but the IVA, bankruptcy, or anything else, cannot scare me anything like as much as this can.

Best wishes for your sister and your family for tomorrow.

You are right that the iva is not the most important thing. I tried to remember that the iva was temporary. Family is definitely for life and beyond!

Thank you one and all, and it has certainly moved the IVA down to its correct position on the league of things that are important in life.
