I'm just coming up to my first year on an IVA and now self employed. Will my IVA still be OK ?

I'm just coming up to my first year on an iva and I've set up a dress shop so now I'm self employed will my iva still be ok

Hello there. As long as your income is sufficient to make the required payments and you keep your IP in the loop there should be no problem. Good luck with the new venture.

If possible try and make sure your accounts are available for when your review is due.

They will also want a copy of your self assessment return.

Also try and find a good accountant and make sure that you tell them you are in an IVA.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

My husband is self employed, we have never been asked to submit accounts or a self assessment return. We have just completed Expenditure and submitted payslips and p60.
