I was wondering if anyone can help.

I recently settled my IVA early and have since tried to get a mortgage/Remortgage to no avail. I have a large deposit and have an existing Mortgage. Is there a company that specialises in People with past IVA?

Thank you

Look at the experts tab and contact Ryan at Zebra. Ryan has successfully helped a number of forum members over the last few years make that step onto the property ladder. We also have Shaun who posts occasionally

I think it will be difficult until the iva is cleared ftom your credit file which is 6 years from the start of your iva irrespective of whether you settled early.

It will depend on a number of factors.... a large deposit may help the situation ... Ryan will be able to guide you through this and give you the expert advice that is needed ... fingers crossed.

Ryan has helped many members of this forum so hoping he can assist you and if not straightaway he will be able to offer expert advice.

I don't post on my phone at all, only ever use the computer so I'm way behind and I teach IT!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi,
Obtaining a mortgage whilst the IVA is still showing on your credit file is more difficult, but definitely possible.
I would need to know more in depth information to advise you further.
If you would like to get in contact i would be happy to look in to this for you.
