Hi there hope aomeone will know the answer, i have been awarded a payrise and backpay to the 1st of Jan which is due to be paid I have also been awarded a bonus which is due to be paid at the same time. Will this be dealt with as individual payments or as a whole?
They should be dealt with separately as there are different provisions for each.
The bonus will be dealt with under the 10% 50/50 rules ( if you have the 10% disregard). The pay rise should be dealt with at review, when your payments will increase by 50% of the net increase, again, depending on the wording of your arrangement.
Have a read of your paperwork.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
The pay rise should be taken into account at your next annual review as Foggy states, however it will depend on your IP and how your IVA has been written as the back pay may be deemed a windfall. The bonus should be split 50/50
