Hi I have an IVA and am 2.5 years into it.....
I own a very small flat and have had an offer to house share with a friend.... working out my financial figures it doesnt make much difference to my outgoings, however I am wondering if the IVA company would have to take my friends income and outgoings into consideration even though I wouldnt be financially dependant on her.
I know if I was to share with a partner the assumption is that the bills etc would be shared, but if I'm just renting in a house share does this change the situation?
Please help, the house share would give me company and a bit more room, but I wouldnt want to impact negatively on my friend.

Hi and welcome
Your friend would not have to disclose their income and expenditure
Only your change in expenditure would be needed by your IP
Will you rent your flat out ?

Thank you for that.
Yes I am planning to rent my flat out.... but as it's so small it would only be enough to cover the mortgage and maintainence costs etc....
