Hi Everyone

We had our F&F accepted in May and have now received our completion certificates. Have checked the insolvency register this morning and me and hubby are on there as 'completed'

We do want to try and start to get back on track and slowly rebuild our credit rating, Are we able to do this now? im wondering if i applied for a card like Aqua or vanquis are we likely to be accepted or would we need to wait until 2017 when our IVA would have concluded after the 5 year period?

Thanks for any help you can give me :) xx
F&F accepted on 29.5.15
CC received 9.7.15

The IVA will still appear on your credit file until the 6th year has been and gone.

Insolvency register will take up to 3 months i believe.

You will need to ensure all 3 agencies are updated - Noddle, Experian and Equifax (i think its still 3) I guess using a Vanquis card will help as it's a credit agreement.

Good luck

If you're still on the register then you probably will be on for the full three months.

Noddle (for Call Credit) is free but you will have to pay for the others at £2 a go or sign up for the free 30 days but remember to cancel the membership.
