If you have been told that a variation meeting has been called. How do you actually know that it has gone ahead?

Hi,

You should have been told the date by your company.

What was the variation for?

I was given the date and have e-mailed to ask for the result and heard nothing.

That is very poor customer service. Email the IP directly and make a complaint as there is no justification for this.

Thank you for the advice. I wont name names but this particular company who I didn't choose to see out my IVA are less than easy to contact, and the IP is an urban myth I believe having read on here for several months previously.

IVAs are stressful enough without ignoring clients who are awaiting the outcome of any meetings. Some things can wait a day or two but not the outcome of a meeting of creditors. Send the email and if no answer on Monday complain via Gateway.

Thanks Kallis. I am so close to the end but there has been a little hiccup and I just hoped things could be sorted sensibly by my IVA company?
We will see?
I will await the outcome and then I will give a little more detail so as to help others possibly in a similar situation.

You should receive a report on the outcome of the meeting from your IP. Suggest you chase up in writing in case there is a need to make a formal complaint about this.

Hoping you get the result of your meeting without further delay. Very poor on their part.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
