Tracy has received £45k in compensation for a medical negligence claim. She said that she can keep £35k which has been awarded for pain and suffering. She has received a further £10k for a future operation, psychology sessions and make up. There will be £1k left after this and Tracy would like to know if she has to pay this towards her IVA.

The whole claim may be exempt but she will need to discuss this with her IP. Some firms may go after some of the money.
