Hi my via finished in 2012 ppi s were claimed and repaid into my iva I was given £500. Today I received a letter from a bank saying I'm going to receive some money as they have found I was mis sold ppi . Do I have to notify my iva supervisor.
If you didn't sign anything to say you would and the bank is sending it directly to you it comes down to whatever you think you should do.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
I expect you will find the PPI might get repaid direct to your ex Supervisor. It depends on whether anything was agreed about PPI when your case was closed and if not potentially could rest on a case that is going through the courts of appeal at the moment and won't be heard until sometime next year.
