Redress letter from a previous creditor from IVA concluded August 2015 ?

I was in a iva which concluded in august last year .I had a redress letter from a previous creditor stating I was due a sum of money but they won't be paying me as it has come of my previous account which I had from them although my account was settled in a iva is this correct

Unless you paid back 100p in the pound then that money will be due to the creditors.

Probably a statutory requirement.
