Creditor Meeting today

My meeting is at 10am this morning....time is dragging! Does anyone know, if agreed today, when does the 30 day payment period start? Only asking as I get paid monthly on the 18th and as today is the 16th I was wondering if I could start payments from 18th June? This way I could have a £212 emergency pot. Any ideas?

They usually like you to pay straight away if you can but normally within a month.

Speak to your IP company and see if you can make it from that date.

18th June would count as next month, so you would have already missed a payment. But still worth asking for the sake of a couple of days.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I would think the first payment would be due on 15th June - your IP should clarify. Hope it went through okay yesterday.

Hi thanks for the responses...IVA was approved Monday subject to a few changes but changes for the IP (i assume fees but wasnt really told) my payments are the same as proposed....I have asked the question to pay 18th june but not had a response as yet which is frustrating. I have to get new tyres for my car which I havent planned for, not a great start but I am glad my 5 years starts now! :-)

You should have been told of any modifications as you have to approve them. Make sure you check the Chairmans report and modifications carefully when you get it in case there is anything in there you would not have accepted.
