Hi, received our CC today from NTF, to say we are over the moon is an understatement and would just like to say the help and advice we have received from this forum has been invaluable and we would go as far as to say I don't think we could have made it through without this excellent site. I just have a few questions:

Am I correct in thinking the first thing to do is to get our credit reports from the 3 main CRA's to ensure the dates of defaults etc aren't showing after the start of our IVA?

Does the RX1 restriction on our house get removed automatically or do we need to take action ourselves to get it removed?

Thanks in advance guys....

IVA started January 2011
Final Payment Feb 2016
DOA signed April 2016
CC received May 2016.

Your IP will ( should) remove the RX1 -- no harm in asking for confirmation though.

Regarding credit clear up, have a read here:

Well done :-)

Brilliant news ... well done. The RX1 should be lifted automatically by your IP but I would follow this up and ensure it is.
Re credit files ... I would register with all and check the default dates etc then watch everything clean up ...it may take a few months to do it as sone creditors are not as quick as others

Well done!

It's a long old road I'm still plodding with another 2 years and 2 months...

Hi Well done to you! You creditor rating won't start to tidy up until after January 2017 I'm afraid (6 years from start).

Your IP should remove the RX1 - ask them to confirm this has been done and get confirmation from the land registry of the same.

Best of luck for a debt free future.
