My iva failed due to non payment a few months ago with less than a year to go and I have received a termination letter from my ip. Last week I entered into a dmp. Today I have checked my Experian credit report and it has increased by 77points stating that i don't have any outstanding ivas, ccjs or defaults. Last week all these things showed up on the report. I have also checked the individual insolvency register and my name is not on there! Can anyone tell me if this is normal and would this have anything to do with the dmp I have just started! I'm trying to get my debt back under control but this has really confused me!
Sorry Laura I am unable to answer your question however would encourage you to speak the DMP company for their advice. If I hazard a guess its probably the iva company tidying up their files but am surprised you have come off the insolvency record so soon. Hope you get this sorted.

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !
Sorry to hear about your termination - seems awful that it failed so close to the end.
The IVA would have dropped off the register once the IP company sent them the termination but I've no idea about the credit reference agencies.

As regards the register this will be because you are no longer in a formal arrangement. A DMP is informal/not legally binding so does not register on the register.
