We have had a F&F meeting agreed and paid the final sum. Now just waiting for the completion. We are keen to get our credit score back on track are we able to apply for credit builder cards now or do we still have to see you the 6 year term of the IVA. Thanks

Hi and well done.

The 6 years from the start still stands, I am afraid, but you could, once you get the certificate, apply for a Vanquis card or similar.

Congratulations Kevin - unfortunately, as Foggy says, it will stay on your record. It will drop off the Insolvency Service register within three months of you getting your completion.

Hi Kevin you have to wait for your CC to come and your name to drop off the register (within 3 months after your CC) before you can start tidying up your record - keep the pressure on your IP to close your IVA quickly.
