Hi
I've just started a new job today and my boss has asked me to complete a form to get a company credit card. Does anyone know if a normal credit check is done if it's a company one? Obviously don't want the card company to do checks and then report back to my employer that I've failed them. Thanks

I believe a check is done and it is more than likeky to show the iva as active. If it were me I would be honest with him from the outset but ask him for discretion with your colleagues etc.

We have company cards here and checks are not carried out. Ultimately the company is responsible for paying the bills so our individual credit files are irrelevant.

People get refused credit all the time because 'the computer says no' so personally I would go ahead and if you get rejected act confused. I think you will be okay.
