We finished our iVA end of March and received our CC in June ,sadly my husband has recently passed away, do I have to inform anyone ie.IP or credit agencies,on noddle he still has one debt showing as default, we no longer appear on the register, I still have not checked my own credit scores, I guess I am a little scared, I would welcome your help please.
I am really sorry to hear about your husband especially having just completed your IVAs. However you have nothing to fear as the completion certificates meant that you are both debt free so there will be no debts to be paid from his estate which will remove any complications in that respect.
If there is a will and an estate this should just go to you or anyone else he named and as he now has no creditors the full estate can be passed on.
I am also sorry to hear of your loss. As Michael says, you have nothing to worry about.
You should check your own credit record just to make sure that you have no defaults still showing.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Credit files will take a while to clear up, but really must be the least of your concerns right now. As said above all the unsecured debts are now written off so the estate can be dealt with without any complication from these.
