Hello,my sister recently passed away but had a IVA that ended in may 2015,being an executor of her will one of the credit card companies included in the IVA has contacted me requesting payment of a outstanding debt.can they do this as the IVA was completed a year over a year ago and I thought my remaining debt was written off
As far as I am aware this should have been written off with the completed IVA. Explain this to the creditor and hopefully she had a completion letter so you can forward that to the creditor. Alternatively, contact the original IP and ask them to sort it.

If the debt they are talking about was one included in the IVA then, no, they cannot claim any of it.
Send them a copy of the Chairman's Report (the summary of the initial creditors meeting, detailing what was included) and a copy of the Final Report and Completion Certificate, which confirms that all was successfully concluded.
