Had a call this evening from Creditfix asking if I had received the T&C's via email 2 weeks ago, and do I have any questions regarding the amendments.

I have politely told them I will not be signing the new T&C's, to which they replied why??

I did feel they were trying to back me into a corner during the telephone conversation, which I quickly brough to an end.

Anyone else had a call chasing?

No call yet, but I'm expecting it soon.

Thanks for posting this though.

Can I ask, what reason did you give for declining to sign?

In my case I'm waiting on a response from them anyway about something else too so I'll ask about that if they call.

Have not received anything about t&t either by email or hard copy. Unless of course they were junk-boxed and deleted. I wonder if it is only some people getting them? I'm thinking, I rent so could it be those of you with houses of your own that are being asked?

On balance I'd say if the terms benefit you then sign. If they are to your detriment then don't.

I have reasons why I think I'd be worse of for signing. If you don't wish to sign I think it would be good to have your reasons ready.

You can refuse without reason of course but I think it better to state them. We are stuck with CF so I'm trying not to get off on the wrong foot.

If in doubt....dont sign.

Be sure you understand whats being asked. Dont listen to them when they phone trying to push you into signing.

Hi Hubert,

We finish our IVA in July 2015, and don't feel they offer anything beneficial to us; only CF!

They can't make you sign and they can't make you give a reason as to why either. Your IVA was all dandy and to your satisfaction under Mel so why change it now.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

I don't think there will be undue pressure. Even the person I spoke to said it's up to me whether I sign or not.

Though I do expect them to at least follow up and ask. I emailed them today and got a (human) response about another matter. No mention of new T&Cs.

Can I just ask (and I think I might know the answer). I am probably going to be due to inherit during the time of my IVA thanks to age of parents and 4.5 years to go. If I sign this form, I take it that the total amount repayable including fees would be higher than if I didn't sign it due to the hike of fees to 23%? This would be another reason for me not to sign.
