Unfortunately GT are known for long delays with their CC. Some people have waited longer than 6 months.

Keep badgering them.

Based on the warmth welcoming you back I think that people will forgive you anything:)
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Hopefully your closure process is sorted for you and your certificate issued shortly. Most closures take 3-6mths to do ..some take longer. Its frustrating as I recall feeling in 'limbo' until you receive it ... stay communicating with your IP and it will happen.

Morning luluj I have never spoken to the IP just whoever eventually picks up the phone usualy after at least half hour if lucky (different though if makeing payment strange eh )if i had been told from start that it would take 3-6 months i would have been ok with it but when your told 6weeks then when you do speak to someone they keep moving the goalposts very frustrating. Noticed on here yesterday someone else with dfd was told the same 6weeks & they are bieng fobed off too.

just a update had a e-mail from Evette,& one of our creditors has not submitted their claim for their share of the final distribution so they have served them with a 28 days notice to make a claim or to be excluded from the distribution of funds this 28 days are up 1st Sept . After this period is up they will make the final payments & issue us our CC within 14 days. Will keep you Informed as & when anyting happens[8D]

Hmmm --- August has 31 days and we are not quite out of July yet -- are these earth days or DFD days they talk about ??
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
