Hi Lew

I'm sorry but I don't feel that it is appropriate for you to contact your creditors directly to offer a settlement, whilst you have an IVA in place. If your IP is genuinely ignoring recorded telephone calls and recorded delivery letters, then you may no option but to file a complaint. This practice is not acceptable and you deserve the courtesy of a response.

Lew,

I tried to get a solicitor involved in my case 3 years ago when my fees started going up - I couldn't find anyone with enough knowledge (or interest) at the time.

If you go onto the law society website you can search for registered solicitors who specialise in insolvency law in a radius distance out from your postcode.

Chris.

The key thing here vis that you have a year to go.I would personally write to them requesting a one to one meeting and agree a monthly payment to conclude your IVA.It would be a shame to have it fail for whatever reason after sticking at it for four years.
If,after sending the letter recorded delivery, they do not contact you about a meeting then you have grounds to complain to the regulatory body.
Please try and resolve this directly with your IP.
