well and the nightmare continues! cant talk to travel lodge have to email them.Today got a break through contacted by head office now have contact name and a helpful person not! a never answered customer service line ! now for the test to see if they pay the bank charges! will update when any response

They ought to definitely refund your overdraft charges and this should have been sorted ages ago, not good enough really x

at last a postive the chief exceutive of travel lodge rang me yesterday after i made a massive complaint to head office awaitin the refund and compensation for stress!

result Orange but needn't have taken so long. I stayed in a Premier Inn recently for the wedding of my brother, my daughter did too with her children but only for one night. She didn't have a room to check in to as they were 'running late' and they gave her a courtesy room to get herself and children ready. When we returned from the reception past midnight they'd taken her cases to her allocated room and she just thought she'd check in in the morning but when she went to check in, there was no charge as they hadn't delivered her room! I was so impressed she received a refund of £61.00! That was impressive customer service. I stayed two nights and it was lovely, but sadly I can't afford this all the time so it's back to Travelodge deals for me.

If I have the choice I'll go for Premier Inn every time rather than Travel Lodge.

I'll stay at the cheapest!! Christmas FF is Travelodge and I've had no problems with the payments at all.

I've booked the Travel Lodge for the Christmas do and I had no problems with the payments.

I just find Premier Inn a little more comfortable than Travel Lodge but for one night I'm not fussy!

Orange was like me the problem arose from charging us again randomly a month or more after the original charge, their error admittedly, luckily mine was sorted and refunded within days but others are struggling with getting costs etc., back.

just an undate got full charges and a bonus of free breakfast and a credit for a further booking soo all ends well
