Vouchers have always been used as birthday and Christmas presents which has saved me a small fortune!!

Enjoy your kindle Luke - I think I'd be giving Sherlock Holmes a miss though! LOL!!!

I thought I would find it a hard read especially given how old it is and the standard of English been slightly different. But it has been an easy read and has stood the test of time very well. Plan to read the lot before watching of the TV adaptations.

I've never been a fan at all - couldn't even get into the latest film version and I like Robert Downey Jnr. Stood abut half an hour and that was it.

Love Benedict Cumberbatch in the modern version tv series Sherlock.

You have put the idea in my head to read the books again now Luke not read them for years, and I did enjoy them

We have always used vouchers to help buy Christmas & birthday presents, but we did save about £200 worth of vouchers to buy a new TV! We had been waiting 5 years to treat ourselves to one! We got it just after I had Leah in the January sales & got a great bundle 3D Smart TV with blu ray player & 3d glasses (not the cheap ones) for a fab price!
We have also put vouchers towards a dyson hoover & I think we bought our first Wii with vouchers too... We like to save them up & buy something we really want with them, next on the agenda is a lap top or it might have to be a washing machine!!!
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

I have seen Mr Cumberbatch in other stuff and he is awesome and expect he is an exceptional Holmes. Although I want to read the books before watching the series.

I can't seem to get on shop and scan which is annoying as the other surveys go on too long for me and I left them.

It all just depends on how many people they have in certain socio-economic groups. I imagine you may be contacted in the future if someone stops doing it.

I imagine as a divorced, male aged 30, living alone not many in my group volunteer.

If anyone lives in Lincolnshire and wants any shrubs etc., feel free to come to mine this weekend. My hubby's been on a job this week where they're throwing their whole live garden as it's being landscaped so he brought me some...well considering I have a courtyard garden there's not a lot I can use and don't want to throw live things away so going to try and donate to people. x
