Hi

Does any dmp expert know under the above act is their going to be an act passed in regards to dmp being legalised in the early part of 2009 or have i totally missunderstood this. If this was to come through it would be great news for those of us who do not qualify for an iva for one reason or another and do not want to go down the bankrupcy route.

Many thanks for allways answering my questions as best as you can. Sites like these are invaluable for people struggling with debt.

Hopefull, I've not heard anything about this at all.

I know you have asked this question before, but hopefully one of the experts will see this and give you a definitive answer.

The legislation you refer to does not have anything to do with the regulation of DMPs. There is talk of bringing regulation to this type of product, but no firm plans yet so far as I am aware.
