Trying to discover why we were told we were in arrears. Letters ignored and phone put down on me.

Our Iva ended on the 1st June according to all the paper work we have, I phoned and asked when we would get our certificate only to be told we were 1,900 in arrears after 5 years. We have had no word about it being extended over the phone or in writhing. I deleted my direct debit at the time as we thought the iva had finished that was 3 months ago. I have phoned and phoned and written letters to ask what's happening only to have my letters ignored and phone put down on me. We don't want to be declared bankrupt what can we do from here or what can happen to us? Thank you Dawn

That is pretty shoddy treatment from your IP firm Dawn - especially as they have given you no indication of the building arrears in their earlier annual reports. How have the arrears arisen - have you missed payments along the way, or do you owe sums relating to uplift payments from additional monies earned?
