Help - I'm having a blonde moment! I've got my Tuxedo card and I want to set up a standing order from my bank account to top it up. I'm sure I remember seeing somewhere a list of the information that I need to do this - reference etc - but I can't find it. I've looked on the Tuxedo website but I can't find it there either - please can someone point me in the right direction?!?!

Hi skippy, when you got your card you should have had some info with it as in a sort code & account number for the card, these are the things you will need to set your standing order up.

I'm thinking of getting a pre paid card, but there's so many out there - is Tuxedo a good one?

Hi Swans, its all about how much they charge you really, if you're gonna use it on a regular basis then it might be worth getting one with a monthly fee that way you wont be charged for any transactions, i use mine occassionally & ive got a QUIDITY card they charge 2.95% each transaction, but that suits me, its all down to how you aren gonna use it.

Thanks, I'll have a look for it when I get home - I thought I'd looked everywhere, but obviously not!

I haven't actually used the card yet, but I loaded it at the Post Office yesterday (99p) and the money is showing today. I'm impressed that you can ring an 0207 number for customer services, rather than one of the 90p a minute numbers that some cards have.

I have an IDT Prime card, you can get them everywhere these days, it is a bit mickey mouse, (mine does not even have my name on it tho you can get this) but it works fine for buying stuff over the net. The best bit is I can load it up at the shop opposite my house and by the time I get back in my chair it's ready to go.

Best Regards Simon
