A quick question for anyone with a Tuxedo card - have you noticed that when you buy something £1 extra is taken, and then shows back on the balance a couple of days later? For example I ordered my mum some flowers for £10.97, and the balance of my card reduced by £11.97. A couple of days later the balance went back up by £1.

It's a pain, as I had £30 on the card and needed petrol, but I didn't like to use the full £30 in case the extra £1 meant the transaction would be disallowed.

Other than that, I'm more than happy with the Tuxedo card!

How odd...I can't even get one yet as I am not on the register of electors until 1st September and they use this to check your identity apparently..I might not bother with them now!!
Completion Certificate received September 2012.

Apart from that it's very good - I pay £4.95 a month for unlimited usage and top it up free with bank transfer. The statement is easy to understand, and the available balance updates immediately. They've also got an 020 number, so free calls for me!
