No worries Ray, I just had to share the result with everyone!

Peterborough is at home, although I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a ticket as they have reduced the ground capacity. They were selling tickets on Saturday but we couldn't get to the match, so we're off to queue on Thursday night!

The atmosphere last Thursday was fantastic, and after watching England the night before it made me realise what football is all about.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

I'm not happy! There are no tickets left for Staines -v- Peterborough and they haven't even gone on general sale! The police and the local council have, in their dubious 'wisdom' decided to slash the ground capacity by around 600, so if you couldn't get to the game last Saturday (which we couldn't) you ain't going to the match! Grrrrrrrrr!

What a shame I would have thought the likes of Brentford or Wycombe would have been more than happy to have staged the game for you so that people could go!

You should come and watch a decent team like Wycombe where we have plenty of room!!!!!

Well all was not lost! After some serious begging on the Staines Town forum I have tickets! A couple of people had a spare ticket so Dave and I are going!

I might try and get to Wycombe - money permitting of course!

Hmmm, I paid £15 to get freezing cold, soaked through and Staines lost 5-0! Oh well, back to real non league next week!

Saw the result well Sorry but you had a cup run and beat a league side on the way so it can't be all bad!

At least you turned up rather than sitting in front of a TV!

Think about all that fresh air you got and who knows you might be on Match of Day FA cup highlights!

I doubt if I'll make it onto MOTD - Alex Ferguson and Trevor Brooking were there so I think the cameras were on them! If I do make it, I'll be the one with the glowing nose - it's still bright red! The cup run has done wonders for the club, they have made £100-£150k out of it. Hopefully some of the fans will keep going back - we definitely will be, although we'll have to pick and choose the matches for obvious reasons! On the downside I don't think the goalkeeper or a couple of the strikers will still be there next season, I think they will be snapped up by clubs in the higher leagues.
