Been in an IVA for 6 months now, got a letter yesterday from a company called 'Tyler Morgan'enclosing a newsletter and a letter informing me that their 'aim is to assist me through the duration of my IVA and find the most cost effective way of ending it early'.
Obviously these people obtained my name and address from the Insolvency Service website as I haven't contacted them.
Have any Forum members had any dealings with these people, are they legitimate or are they preying on people who are rock bottom financially.
Any information would be gratefully received.
IVA COMPLETED ON THE 17th MARCH, FINAL I&E COMPLETED 26th APRIL, COMPLETION CERTIFICATE ARRIVED 2nd AUGUST

I still get these even though I'm no longer in an IVA. I would be wary to be honest - if there was a better way of dealing with debts and ending an IVA early why haven't we all done it?

I'm going to write to them and tell them to take me off their mailing list - I get enough junk mail as it is!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Hi
They can only provide a remortgage service to end your IVA,any decent mortgage broker can do this for you when, and if,the time is right.
Throw it in the bin

Hi there,

I hear more from these people than I do off my own family, every few weeks they send a "newsletter" which is essentially designed to make you feel that they are the good samaritans getting you out early and use unjustified scare tactics about your IP screwing you over blah, blah, blah. As Andy said, file it in the bin.

The only reason I'm going to write to them is I don't want them sent here after we move and the post is no longer redirected.

Thats an interesting point Skippy - who updates the details on the Insolvency Register when you move? Does the Official Receiver - or I.P. for IVA people - notify the Insolvency Service - or is it up to the individual to notify them?
47 months completed - 13 months to go.

My BR info states that I must notifiy the OR, so I presume that they will then inform the relevant people and get the address changed, and I would assume your IP would do it in an IVA.

Obviously Tyler Morgan don't check the Insolvency Register when they have got your details - I'm no longer showing as having an IVA!
