Don't mention that stupid toll road Jan - it cost me £7.50 to get home from yours last year as the sat nav took me on it twice!

Make sure you programme it right this time - the fees have gone up again!

Luckily I didn't catch that going to Jan's, maybe I come in from a different direction, my geography is shocking!

You probably wouldn't have done coming from where you live Lesley.

unless I'd have been driving Jan then who knows where I'd have ended up - probably at Skippy's house!

You'd have had to go a long way out of your way to go on there Lesley!

But this is Lesley we're talking about the woman who went down a multi-storey car park the wrong way! how embarrassing was that! Didn't miss my vocation as a driving instructor that's a fact x

My dad once picked us up from Manchester airport - he forgot where he'd parked the car so they had to hunt for it (whilst the rest of us froze - it was the beginning of November!) and then when they found it he wanted to turn the wrong way and nearly hit a brick wall!

LOL lesley!
I remember only a week after I had passed my driving test I said I would go and pick up a couple of friends from the pub. Another friend came with me because I wasn't sure where the pub was. So we were driving along and all of a sudden she said "It's this next left" Well, I panicked because I thought she literally meant 'turn left now' so I ended up mounting the kerb, driving across a patch of grass, narrowly missing a tree, down another kerb and straight into the pub car park!!!! At least I got there I guess!

We didn't even have that! I have no idea how we ended up doing that at all!

On the same holiday we ended up driving onto a building site late at night! Had no idea where we were supposed to be going!
